The G-sensor stopped working on my Hannspree T7 10.1 inch tablet. How to fix?

My Hannspad updated to Jelly Bean 2.2 and the g-sensor has stopped working. I've contacted Hannspree several times but am told there is no fix as yet. Does anyone have a solution for this?

For some reason my 10 inch hanspree tablet jelly bean model number HSG1279. G SENSOR STOPPED WORKING AND IT WONT CALIBRATE, GIVING ME AN ERROR.
PLEASE HELP, WHAT DO I NEED TO DO? IS THERE AN UPGRADE PATCH OR SOFTWARE TO BE DOWNLOADED TO FIX IT? Any help is appreciated

I called support on 2/16 and found that the recent update to Android 4.2.2 fried GSensor. It i a known bug now. You have 2 choices; send back your tablet and they will remove the update (with no promise of maintaining your data) or wait 3 to 6 weeks for the patch.
