How do I delete a contact on my FaceTime

My FaceTime contact list is really messed up. When I set up the FaceTime account , it used an unwanted email address so I ended up with a bunch of unwanted contacts. I tried to delete a contact and it came right back. No matter what I do, it won't go away. I added another email account, but the new contacts don't show up.

How do I remove this FaceTime account and reinstall a new one. Any idea .

Hi barb. Facetime uses the contacts from the Contacts app. Delete the Contact app and you will no longer see that contact in Facetime, Phone and Mail.

To delete a contact: view it > tap Edit > tap Delete.
