Hi mel. Sorry, what's a SIM lock counter? Are you pertaining to number of times you enter the PIN code? If I'm correct, check the pack that came with your SIM, look for the PUK code. If you can't find it there, contact your carrier to get it.

So what's the PUK code for? After you enter the wrong PIN at a specific number of times, your phone will now ask for the PUK code. Once you enter it, you should be able to reset the PIN code.
