Charged

Absurdly close to being perfect

from Charged

This phone is extremely my shit. Google has taken the original Pixel, which was interesting but not enough to tempt me into switching, and made it into something that's near perfect.

The Pixel 2 is compact, runs the best version of Android and has a stunning, class-leading camera. If only it looked slightly more modern then it would be the perfect small phone.

ZDNet

No frills, but a great camera and fast Android updates

from ZDNet

The Google Pixel 2 hides its light under a bushel. The physical design is demure, Android 8 doesn't look much different at first glance, and without a UI overlay or third-party software, bells and whistles are few and far between. That said, I like the 'back to basics' feel of some of Android 8's features.

The iPhone of The Android Space

from Know Your Mobile

I hate the bezels. I really HATE them. But I love everything else about this immensely powerful, super-useful phone. Given the choice, I would always go with the Pixel 2 XL, but if you want something smaller with a brighter display, then the Pixel 2 is about as good as it gets.

Taking the crown

from Mobile Syrup

In a field of tough competitors, especially this year, the Pixel 2 is among the best. Anytime a smartphone camera elicits the kind of confidence these two phones do, it’s noteworthy. The odds of a photo turning out well are overwhelmingly positive when firing away with them.

Fastest compact Android phone you can buy today

The Google Pixel 2 is the Android phone we’d recommend to anyone who wants a compact Android phone and can afford its huge price tag. It has an excellent camera, but battery life needs some work and Google should put more into its design.
