The "1-Minute" Review
When it comes to cell phones, are you decidedly “old school”? Do you want quality, but basic? Not interested in using your phone to post new blog entries to your website? I get it. I get it.
So does the LG Accolade. It’s a basic, competent brushed stainless steel flip that offers good call quality, simplicity and quality basics, basics and more basics.
The main, 1.7 inch display, (the display on the inside), offers 176 x 220 pixel display, which clearly renders key images suitably. The exterior display offers marginal 96 x 64 pixel resolution.
You also get a 1.3MP camera with night mode, white balance and some additional features, a 1,000 name capacity address book, alarm, calendar, to-do and task functions and other entry level functions.
This is a quality, well-built phone that, while it doesn’t have a lot of fancy, cutting edge features, offers the user quality and reliability.
If you are looking for a basic phone built the old-fashioned way, you’ll find it in the LG Accolade.
