For a lower-tier phone, the LG Rumor packs a great feature set, including GPS, 1.3MP camera (no flash), 16MB onboard flash memory (expandable to 4G via microSD), ability to hold up to 500 contacts with 5 entries per contact, dedicated speakerphone button and Bluetooth, all in a candy bar slider that measures in at a manageable 4.3”x2”x0.7”.
The slide out Qwerty keyboard is spacious and easy to use, making texting a breeze.
The Rumor has a talk time of 4.5 hours, and allows for considerable personalization, including customizable ringtones and graphics, real-music ringers, ringer and picture ID.
Using Infraware Polaris 5.01 browsing software, you can even surf the web, although the small external screen will provide a limited internet experience.
An affordable phone with meaningful features and personality.
