It's not that terrible

Okay, i've had this phone since 2005 and it is working just fine for me and i've had no problems such as freezing or turning off randomly. This is a great phone to use if you are getting a phone just to make phone calls (no internet, no camera, etc.). The only thing about this phone is that it is "old-fashioned" i guess compared to modern day cell phones. You can create messages with this phone but i could never send them, also, i could always get messages from my friends (what was the point in that i have no clue). The battery also lasts quite a bit of time; i often forget to charge my phone and sometimes it will start beeping after 3 days of it being on. Also, I am not the most gentle person with things, i dropped this phone way too many times and one time threw on the floor because i was mad at something and it did not break or even get damaged and nothing happened to its functionality. Okay, so this phone is great for people who just want a phone for making calls or for beginners just starting with a cell phone. Also, since the age of people getting a cell phone is decreasing (I've seen a 5 year old with a cell phone), it is good for children at that age as the buttons are normal sized and pretty straight-forward, unlike some phones where i'm asking my friend, what does this button do. I liked this phone while it lasted (and it's still lasting) but i want to change to a phone that is more modern not because this one doesn't work or "sucks". I will use this phone till i get a new one which will take a while as i am a student. Less

Do not buy this phone! You will regret it!

I do not recommend this phone for anyone! It is cheap and not worth one red cent. Motorola probably manufactured this phone so carelessly just to keep up with the competition because it doesn't even deserve two thumbs or the energy it takes to do it. The design is trash with a couple removable sliding "panels" on the sides and it has the bare minimum in features and only supports plain midi ringtones. No good, whatsoever! Motorola, you should be ASHAMED of yourselves! Less

absolute garbage

Extremely flaky phone. Frequently have to take out the battery just to get it to power down when it freezes on me. Now the charger interface pins are bent and it won't charge. Piece of rubbish. Avoid at all costs.

hate hate hate

I hate this phone. I've had it for almost a year and its aweful. The only good thing about it is the service it gets. Other then that I'd like to throw my phone in the garbage. It barely works any of the time. The screen just goes black randomly. (even with service) And the volume when your trying to talk is horrible. I can NEVER hear the person I'm talking to when I'm in public..its just not loud enough. I would not recommend this phone for anybody. Horrible. Less

Motorola C341: Blue Screen of Death

The phone screen is just plain blue, so I can't access any of my stored info, or navigate any of the features. Never dropped, no idea why this happened. The charger only works when plugged in at a certain angle, and sometimes says its charging, but then randomly stops. I have since bought a Nokia through Virgin Mobile and think its great. Less

Not so great of a phone.

Here''s a few things that I like about this phone: 1. It''s not too tiny so you can find it easily. 2. Great for catching peoples'' attention in noisy areas when you''re browsing through your so-so ring-tones (Siren is loud). 3. Sorta lives up to it''s basic function as a phone. 4. Great for catching peoples'' attention in noisy areas when you''re browsing through your so-so ring-tones (Siren is loud). 3. Sorta lives up to it''s basic function as a phone. 4. Cheap in price, though the phone is cheap itself... Now this is what I hate about it: 1. Phone tends to shut-off when I''m in the middle of a conversation (boss wasn''t too pleased). 2. Battery life is tolerable (not great though) 3. Phone will sometimes freeze on it''s own. 4. Keyguard will not kick in sometimes. 5. Sometimes it''ll report a fully charged battery after a full night''s charging and then die on me an hour later. When I coax it back to life, I get a "Battery Low" message. 6. Reception is iffy around power-lines. 7. LCD Backlight will remain on even though I have it set to shut off after 2 seconds. 8. Adapter that comes with it only seems to work when placed at a certain angle. 9. Had to send the phone back for warranty work 3 times in the year and a half that I''ve had it now. Note: This phone has never been dropped or abused and I carry it around in a padded holster attached to my belt. As you can see, it''s not that great of a phone. My mom and dad have the same phone as well and they hated them as well. Less

CONS: -i personally prefer flip phones -the keyguard works SOMETIMES -the phone will turn on and off if in your backpack or purse, and you have no battery left when you need it NOTES TO EVERYBODY: There are games, just look in the "More" box on the menu. You can personalize it to get on the actual menu. the games are kinda from 50 years ago. And the currency converter is there too, just scroll all the way on the calculator. A good first phone, great for candy-bar lovers Less

GOOD PHONE

This phone is really good for anybody. It is reliable and has many wonderful features. The calculator, datebook, and the many different personalization choices make it enjoyable. Many of the previous reviewers were making completely stupid complaints. It is all about how you treat the phone.

It Needs To Be Taken Off The Market!

I purchased two of these phones for family use within nine months both had died. Motorola has been totally uncooperative about honoring the warranty and I''m taking them to the Attorney General of my state. This phone has the removable sides so you can change colors which means if you get them on good enough for it to stay together you can''t get it open and if you don''t put them on that tight the SOB falls apart on you. I took both phones I had problems with to other dealers and had them look them over before declaring them dead. ALL persons with technical knowledge said they are seeing complaints about this phone on a regular basis. It is a piece of S***, save yourself the grief and don''t buy it! Less
