The best high-end Windows Phone 8 handset, but we're not convinced by the camera

from Expert Reviews
The Lumia 925 improves on most aspects of the Lumia 920, which was already the best high-end Windows Phone 8 handset. We like the new, semi-metal chassis, the screen is superb and Nokia continues to impress with its innovative apps. If you're set on Windows Phone 8 this is the handset to buy, but, as with the 920, a lacklustre camera holds it back from an award... Full review
Phone Report v2.0

A minor refresh of an existing flagship

from Phone Report v2.0
The Lumia 925 is an interesting but awkwardly device more so in Nokia’s own portfolio than when viewed in the context of the competition. It’s clearly high-end and represents something of an upgrade to the Lumia 920. As soon as it was available however, Nokia announced the Lumia 1020 which on paper seems to be a generational update to the Lumia 920. And now being a truer PureView device than the Lumia 925, the Lumia 1020 at least has a unique selling point that distinguishes it from the hordes of large-screened Android devices and the iPhone... A snap happy practical phone

from Chip Chick

If you’re a fan of Windows Phone or Nokia, it’s easy to fall in love with the Nokia Lumia 925. Windows Phone 8 has most every feature as iOS and Android, and it’s maybe the best looking of all of them. That said, the Nokia Lumia 925 has a few neat features you won’t find on iPhone and Android. For instance, Lumia has an always-on screen saver which almost always displays the time on the face phone. It’s ultra low-power and barely uses any battery. It’s convenient and also a neat effect with the inky black screen. The 925 has wireless charging capabilities... Full review

An affordable Windows Phone handset that offers up a solid camera experience and beautiful design

from IntoMobile
The Nokia Lumia 925 offers up a great display, snappy performance, superb camera and more in a tight aluminum body design. The handset is sure to impress those who aren't even interested in Windows Phone, as the in-hand feel alone is really something to admire... Full review

The Nokia Lumia 925 offers just about all the features that a smartphone user would want

from Softpedia

okia Lumia 925 is a major improvement over Lumia 920, even if we take into consideration the phone’s new design. Nokia Amber that adds FM Radio and several neat features make the Lumia 925 a better smartphone than the previous flagship handset.

The Lumia 925 is the proof that Nokia has started to take into consideration users’ feedback and learn from its mistakes. The fact that it was launched several months after Lumia 920 shows that the Finnish company really thought that the device provided a completely new smartphone experience to consumers, and from many points o... It’s a conspicuous success

from ShortList
But it’s the productivity, the malleable tiles, the understated design, that sees the Nokia Lumia 925 fail to slay titans like the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy 4. It’s a conspicuous success; the perfect option for those wanting a smartphone that won’t attempt to make your dinner or pick your kids up from school. You’ll have to wait for the 1020 for Nokia’s giant killer... Full review

The design is well rooted and it feels really comfortable to hold

from WPCentral
While not perfect, all totaled, the Lumia 925 is a worthy option for those looking for a new Windows Phone or their next Windows Phone. I believe it will be hard for you to go wrong with the AT&T Nokia Lumia 925. Of course, there is also something bigger and better coming down the road... Full review
Fone Arena

Stands out in a sea of me-too Android devices and similar looking iPhones

from Fone Arena

In the end, the Lumia 925 feels like Nokia’s best Windows Phone device yet. The over abuse of the Fabula design language made us wanting something different and Nokia provided with the Lumia 925′s stunningly different design and build. While it may be really slippery, the device still felt great in the hands and that really stands out in a sea of me-too Android devices and similar looking iPhones. The camera is much improved and is really consistent now and all the other aspects of the hardware too seem much more refined than ever, save for some small isolated issues we faced. T... The Nokia Lumia 925 is the best Windows Phone you can buy

from Business Insider
Overall, Windows Phone 8 is a nice smartphone operating system. If you don't really care about apps, then it's a great option, especially because most Windows Phones like the Lumia 925 cost about half as much as other phones like the iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S4.If you want a Windows Phone and are an AT&T or T-Mobile customer, you should look at the Lumia 925 first. It's not the best smartphone, but it's a decent option if you're looking for premium device at a cheap price... Full review

The Lumia 925 is supremely comfortable to hold and its aluminum finish is beautiful

from Digital Trends
Like the Lumia 928, the 925’s greatest strength is Nokia. It’s the only smartphone maker that cares at all about Windows Phone, offering a wide line of new devices. The Lumia 925 is supremely comfortable to hold and its aluminum finish is beautiful. Nokia’s apps are highly useful. They focus on camera and maps features, both of which are lacking in Windows Phone. The only downside of the 925 is Windows Phone Itself. There are a few quirks to Microsoft’s OS... Full review
