Pros I dropped the phone outside in the rain and somebody found it two days after. The phone was still working just fine. The buttons and screen are made tough so I still use it now in 2011. So physically the pone is good. Cons The interface is not so user friendly. It does not have all the letters of the French language so I have to make errors when I send text messages. The sound quality is poor and I have to repeat all the time. So what is inside the phone is not incredible. Less

Siemens cf62 I can't fault it.

Had mine for about 4 years? and its fine. It works, is nice and small, neat package. Has no camera but If I want to take photos, I'll use a camera! No Blue tooth etc but its a cheap phone and it works ok at what its meant to do. Only cost me £30 new as well. no complaints from me.

This phone is beatiful and just that. Siemens could dye an go to h... that it will not be missed. After one week I found that the battery wouldn't last one day!!! I took the phone to service center and when they returned it, it was blocked!!! They changed the software and locked my phone to the operator. And they tried to charge me to set it back free!!! Even after that the battery kept lasting just few hours. And the phone started peeling!!! Have you seen a phone loosing its skin? Yeah Cf-62 does it!! By Siemens. I find the phone number of Siemens CEO and told him everything I thought about such anti-etic company. He gave me another flip phone for free. I got it and sold it. All of this took 6 months!!! Siemens , never more, niether hospital equipment. If they are no capable of making a cell phone, picture the quality of their X-ray machine or MRI. Less

Plug it into the charger and it beeps once and shuts down. I ran an eraser across the battery contacts and it does not help. I purchase a new battery, no luck. T-mobile and Siemens warranty this product for a year. Don't call Siemens-cellular they sold the mobile division to benQ. If you click on the CF62 link at Siemens it takes you to the benQ home page. benQ does not display any information about this phone. I called benQ. The really nice guy said all he could do was take my number as they don't have any technical help what so ever currently for cell phones. He said someone will call me back. I am no idiot I know the last thing that is going to happen is someone calling me back. From what I have read benQ is bankrupt and Siemens wants to ban benQ from using its name for the rest of the 5 year agreement. benQ laid off a 3,000 German Siemens employees(hopefully the ones responsible for the CF62). So your willing to roll the dice on this phone. I can tell you that it does drop more calls than my Motorola v188. If you use your phone to remind you to pick up your kids each day make sure to review the past "missed" appointments (even though you did not miss them) because if you don't the phone won't warn you to pick up your kids tomorrow. Buy a charger for work, home and car because you will need it. Tell your phone to go to sleep each night because it needs the rest more than your kids. I bought the usb cable and it does sync with outlook. You will have to clean up your contacts though because the cf62 is pretty strict about alpha characters in the numbers fields and stingy with character length. The phone did randomly shut off about once a week. It was pretty consistent about that. Sometimes I would have to remove the battery to get it to work again. Less

Terrible!!!

from Amazon
Never seen such a lousy phone!!! Siemens could do a lot better. Had a Nokia 3310 back in Turkey, still working after 5 years. Anyway, it'not sold anymore but still a shame for Siemens.

Great Deal, Basic Cell Phone

I bought this model thru QVC as it came with 25 hours of prepaid time plus both a car and home charger. I've dropped it a couple times and it's like a Timex, it just keeps on going! Small, easy to use and well made it's a good basic cell phone...

Phone keeps turning off

from Amazon
The phone randomly turns off. Usually this happens immediately after turning it on, but unfortunately not always. Having a phone that automatically turns off is very unreliable. Customer service wouldn't or couldn't and utlimately didn't help. After reading other reviews with the same problem, it's clear that this phone is defective.

I have had my phone over a year so it is out of warranty. With a full battery it will randomly turn off.
