Punching above its weight

from Android Headlines

The ANKER SoundCore 2 has all of the optimization, volume, and balance normally attributed to speakers twice its price and that comes with both the build quality and style ANKER is known for. On top of that, it fits comfortably in-hand and fits easily in a bag or purse for maximum portability.

Good sound in a super small, very affordable package

from TechHive

While the sound can't compete with that of most larger Bluetooth speakers, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything that sounds better at the SoundCore 2's diminutive size and price.

The Anker SoundCore 2 offers a ton of features for the price like water resistance, great battery life and a rugged body. While its sound quality leaves something to to be desired, it’s hard to think of a better speaker for under $50/£50.

An inexpensive, water resistant speaker that will please most listeners

from TechGearLab

The Anker SoundCore 2 is a dependable Bluetooth speaker that is relatively inexpensive when purchased online. It can't match the impressive sound quality of more expensive speakers, but is a great option if your smartphone's built-in speakers just aren't cutting it and you don't want to spend too much

The sweet sounds of a summer speaker

from WPCentral

The Anker SoundCore 2 talks a big game but it backs it all up. The battery life is super impressive and it's rugged enough to withstand a sudden rainstorm. Above all else, the sound is great. Currently available for under $50, this speaker is an absolute steal.

It also has some deep bass, which is great for songs with a lot of bass – typically in the Hip Hop and Rap genres. The SoundCore 2 benefits from Anker’s own BassUp technology. This technology allows the SoundCore 2 to offer a wider sound range and also offer some pretty deep lows. Now when it come to mids and highs, they are still crystal clear, which is actually pretty impressive when you think about it.

Technically Well

Expect similar sound quality with a little more kick to the bass

from Technically Well

The SoundCore 2 retains the great sound clarity of the original SoundCore, with further enhancements to the bass response. The form factor and long battery life remain virtually the same. At very high volumes the speaker sounds overly "tinny," so the speaker is more ideal for personal listening and small gatherings.
