A step off the pace

from Expert Reviews

The Vivofit 2 does have some commendable features – it’s waterproof, has a year-long battery life, can pair with a heart rate chest strap, etc. – but there are undoubtedly better trackers available.

Cnet

An activity tracker with year-long battery life, no charger needed

from Cnet

The Vivofit is a good activity tracker for those interested in counting their steps, tracking walking distance and counting calories. Sure it's a little bulky, the app needs some work and it doesn't have vibration, but it's the battery life that takes the cake.

TechRadar

It's got stamina, and will help improve yours

from TechRadar

A neat little fitness tracker whose battery life and waterproofing means you never need to take off. And if it were just that bit more useful and more comfortable, you would never want to take it off either. Still, a solid effort for the price.

Wareable

Long-term battery life and a backlight are the plus points of this sequel

from Wareable

The Garmin Vivofit 2 essentially addresses a couple of the minor quibbles of the original – most notably the lack of a backlight and the unreliable strap – but fails to sort out our main problem its predecessor: buggy syncing.

A refinement of last year's original vivofit

from iMore

It's a great personal motivator and accurately tracks all your steps and calories, on land and in the water. It's comfortable to wear and only makes its presence known when it's time to get moving. And for some people, that's more than enough.

Nerd Techy

Packed with a multitude of features

A great option for those who want to stay active and consistently move throughout the day. We’re impressed with it’s 1+ year battery life, especially for the fact that it has a backlit screen.
