The Jaybird Tarah earphones are capable and well-made running earphones, even if they lack some of the fancier features of more premium Jaybird products.

The Jaybird Tarah are great wireless sports headphones, versatile enough for everyday casual use. Their compact in-ear design makes them portable enough to always have them around in your pockets and they have a stable fit suitable for most exercises and workout routines. They barely leak, block enough noise for most commutes, and are IPX7 rated headphones with a good build quality and performance for their price.

Cnet

A very good wireless sports headphone

from Cnet

While the Tarah Pro may sound slightly richer, I actually got a better fit from the Tarah and liked its sound better as a result. With decent clarity and meaty enough bass, the Tarah's sound should satisfy most runners and gym users. It works just fine as an everyday headphone.

One of the best value running headphones money can buy

from TrustedReviews

If you’re a casual music-listener who’s looking for an affordable pair of wireless in-ears for the gym, you’ll struggle to do better than the Jaybird Tarah. The headphones offer the robust fit for which Jaybird is well known, and couple this with a rugged sweat-proof design that will happily survive the odd run in the rain.

The Jaybird Tarah are great wireless sports in-ears that are versatile enough for everyday casual use. They are very similar to the Jaybird X4 but are slightly cheaper. They isolate a decent amount of noise and have a similar sound signature to the X4, with a bit less bass. They are comfortable and stable for most sports. On the upside, the Tarah are also compatible with the MySound app for sound customization.

I'd prefer these got closer to 8 hours, but ~6 hours isn't terrible. More importantly, they're simple to use and deliver a great music listening experience whether your trying to forget the world or charge vigorously through it.

The MySound app (when it works) is the reason I enjoy using them because I can create and select my own equalizer preset(s) and save it directly to the earbuds. The headphones’ music controls work well when using several different apps on my devices (although not on Amazon Prime Video), the Bluetooth range and connectivity are fantastic, and the charging time was pretty fast (about one hour and forty minutes to fully charge). They were also comfortable to wear for up to two hours or so and stayed in my ears very well while doing high impact workouts.
