I am currently working in Peru and I can use the "walky talky feature" with unlimited chat minutes to call Canada for $50 a month which kicks ass on any other long distance phone plan I have ever seen. The only problem is, is that it's very difficult to get one in Canada. I got mine in Peru & got one sent to Canada for my g/f to use and it works great. Canada has the highest & worst rates in the world for the consumer...big surprise that they would limit a communication system that would benefit their customers financially. Less

The sound is great! The one thing that could improve is that in some low line area's the signal strength is not up to par and you have to move directions and hope you keep a bar while talking. Less
