I've used this phone for 11 years now. It finally just broke.

It did what it did greatly. I am now upgrading to an iPhone 6 Plus. I hope the upgrade is worth it.

I have used this phone over two years and have been very happy with it. It includes a lot of useful tools such as alarm clock, calendar, calculator, To Do List, Voice Memo, Currency Exchange, pictures, video, capable of blocking your caller ID. I have experienced a few errors or system glitches where the phone freezes and is stuck. Problems only happened after a year of use. Battery life lasts 3-4 days with no use and 1-2 days with heavy text messaging and voice time. after 20 months the battery began to loose the ability to hold power. Quick fix was to buy a replacement battery on ebay for $4 after shipping. Great deal compared to $25 retail. After buying a new battery the glitches stopped. On average there was a 1 in 200 chance the glitch would happen. I purchased a data link and was able to transfer my pictures, not video's, to my computer. Don't take the battery out before turning off the phone. First time I did that my numbers were erased off the phone. I still have an At&t Wireless contract before the name was changed to Cingular. About two years ago, I bought this phone brand new. I immediately became comfortable using it. It had innovative features that I found extremely convenient, mainly the option to have the two side lights flash to indicate an incoming text. The lights would flash until I opened the phone, so I didn't forget about any texts I had. The camera took excellent pictures and the menu was easy and esthetically-pleasing - very bright graphics. Also, it never froze like some of the newer models tend to due to an overload of technology. About a year after I bought the phone, at&t switched to cingular, so sadly, I had to give it up (it was programmed strictly for at&t). The new samsung I bought never quite fit and didn't have the flashing light feature that I found unique to it's predecessor. I have had my new, black samsung for about a year now but have just purchased a new samsung e316 that I found on the Internet. Despite its status as an 'old' phone, I opted to purchase it once again rather than a razr (which each member of my family owns and tried to push onto me) or any other phone. I am happy with this one! Less

This phone is just awesome. It''s my first cell ever, and the whole thing is so enjoyable! I''m in high school, so having a small, stylish, high tech phone is a MUST. ;D The E316 is ALL of these things! The colours and diplay is bright and sharp, good reception, great battery life, excellent camera, big screens (for the available space), and so much more. Also, I have never seen a CUTER design!!! It''s admired where ever I go! :D But the only thing is, some people say that it has a video recorder, while some people say that it doesn''t. Mine doesn''t. >.< I''d like to know how to get one, or maybe just FIND it, if it IS on there! :P But it''s okay if I can''t get it. Most only hold up to 30 seconds anyway, so I can live with out it. And the ringtones aren''t THAT cheesy . . . relax people. You CAN download other ones, you know. Anyhoo . . . a GREAT phone! It can be enjoyed by a wide range of people, but I recommend it mostly to high school / college / university students, or even a little older. Samsung by far comes up with the best!!! Less

Great Phone

It is a terrific phone no prblems with it so far the only problem is that some people say it has video capture when mine doesn''t I have my phone with Fido other than that it is truly a perfect phone that fits all my needs (I would appreciate it if someone told me about the video capture problem)

Awesome Phone, No Problems so far.

Photos are good quality, has pretty good reception, i have no complaints, been the best phone i've ever had. :)

COOL PHONE

i like it its pretty cool it screws up sometimes but i just turn it off then back on then its good as new

Best phone I owned

Rogers software that they put on this phone is WEAK compared to AT&T''s in the states. I had to slap on the AT&T on my Rogers phone. I have no idea what Rogers was thinking. I don''t have one complaint about the phone, the only thing is that it should have been a QUAD phone instead of dual mode. I''m keeping this one for a while. Less
its great with the usb cable..but it can only transfer ringtones within a certain size..it also solves the problem with it not being able to save many pictures cuz i am a picture-taking freak. everything else is good..reception..sound..battery...graphics?..:)

Nice

nice looking, good features with the camera. the ringtones are retarded, as are the wallpapers. battery life aint toooo great, and ive noticed when im talking on it, the other persons voice starts to garble, and cutout, and its even made this weird loud scratching noise a few times - even when reception is 100%. :S
